What you’ll do
This role needs someone self-sufficient requiring detailed knowledge of Probate work including Inheritance Tax issues, Applications for Grants of Probate/Letters of Administration, the administration of existing and new estates, the drafting of estate accounts and close contact with the Accounts Department in relation to costs/billing.
Due to this being a small local practice high standards of client care are expected with professional and effective communication with clients and all other contacts.
Confidentiality and security of all company and client documentation and information is essential.
Experience you need
The ideal candidate with be experienced in Probate administration/Wills/Trusts/Court of Protection work with Probate experience the priority.
The ability to work on own initiative is paramount and will require excellent organisational and time management skills to ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously, and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs.
