Salary: circa £40k negotiable
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal or Solicitor/Legal Exec to work on a broad range of cases within civil and commercial litigation with a practice regulated by the Bar Standards Board.

What you’ll do
Majority of clients are direct access clients but in some cases ad hoc assistance is provided under the direct access scheme and in others the company has conduct of the cases and is on the court record. You will:
(A) conduct of a number of files subject to the supervision of the owner of the company.
(B) Will draft Applications, witness statements, disclosure statements, statements of case, written submissions and other documents related to civil and other similar documents, to be reviewed as appropriate by the head of chambers.
(C) Attending hearings and client meetings as required.
(D) Will consider potential new matters for their suitability and decide on fee quotes and terms of engagement.
Experienced Needed
If you can show initiative and work autonomously we want to hear from you.
If you have a background in commercial and civil litigation as a paralegal/fee earner in a wide range of practice arrears we want to hear from you
If you can conduct of a file independently, subject to supervision and are able to draft Applications, witness statements, statements of case and written submissions, to a high standard and in a range of arears within civil and commercial litigation, we want to speak to you.
Able to prepare paper and electronic bundles.
Understanding of client relations and able to communicate with clients directly.
Intends to stay with the practice in the long term.
Willing to attend hearings before District Judges in chambers.
Be highly organised.
