What you’ll do
• New Business Development: Identify and target new commercial insurance prospects. Build and maintain a strong pipeline.
• Broking: Manage the process of broking new business, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding of clients.
• Client Retention & Renewals: Handle existing client renewals, focusing on building long-term relationships and maintaining high retention rates.
• Collaboration with Account Handlers: Once a new client’s policy is on cover, efficiently pass the account to the Account Handler team for ongoing management.
• Market Awareness: Stay up to date with industry changes and insurance market developments to offer clients the best possible solutions.
Experienced Needed
• Previous experience in a commercial insurance role is essential.
• Proven track record in business development and new business broking.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Cert CII qualification (preferred) or a willingness to work towards this.
