Outbound Sales Consultant

Duties include:

Our client is a successful business, looking to recruit a Sales Consultant to join their brilliant sales team. This is a full time where you can choose to work from home 2 days per week if you wish. Salary is competitive depending on experience, and our client offers a great benefits package.

To provide a high quality sales support service, to include but not limited to; managing tasks within set service level agreements, general sales support to the Business Development Managers. Account management assistance to the client providing guidance to both new and existing clients on the full range of products and services. To chase outstanding quotes with the aim of maximising business opportunities, leading to the generation of new and future business. To assist the business chasing outstanding payments to help avoid cancellation of orders.

Job Requirements

  • Providing general sales support to the Business Development Managers and guidance to both new and existing clients on the full range of products and services
  • Managing tasks within set service level agreements and to follow up on new and outstanding quotes sent
  • To undertake the chasing of outstanding payments
  • To assist with the scheduling of appointments in a non-targeted capacity
  • To achieve agreed objectives, working closely with Sales and Marketing team, providing administrative support in order to achieve the overall business objectives and goals of the sales department
  • To keep up to date with all products and services within the group
  • To communicate effectively with relevant internal and external parties
  • To issue all documentation required to clients
  • To strictly adhere to the Company’s selling practices and methods in accordance with FCA rules
  • To ensure strict adherence with Company procedures and external Compliance regulations
  • To issue indicative quotations for all Warranty and products they offer
  • To continually achieve all KPI’s and SLA’s in relation to the working of emails, tasks and any other adhoc requirements in relation to the admin role
  • To undertake any additional duties as reasonably required

Experienced Needed

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent planning and prioritising skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • In depth understanding of Products
  • To be self-motivated with an ability to work unsupervised
  • To be achievement focused
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisation ability
  • Good understanding of sales process
  • In depth understand of FSA Regulations and how they apply to products
  • Resilient – able to handle rejection and be persistent in approach
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve

  • Up-to-date market and competitor knowledge with an ability to identify market opportunities
  • Proven ability to persuade and influence
