What you’ll do
To work with the National Sales Manager / London key account manager to achieve sales and business targets including income as directed, to help with administration from clients and also London key account manager liaising with other departments within the business and pro-actively identify and develop new accounts and be the point of contact for select existing accounts within a specified region, operating strictly within FCA Regulations.
To follow the pre quote process from start to finish to ensure all information is collected to enable the team to review and refer for quotation. This entails working directly with customers to ensure this information is received.
Liaise with clients, technical and London director for all pre design meetings to ensure these are arranged
To achieve agreed objectives, working closely with the London team
To work directly with customers to ensure all information required to proceed to quotation stage is received and to be a main point of contact
Providing general sales support to the London regional director and guidance to both new and existing clients on the full range of products and services.
To continually maintain your own product education to better service customer calls within the group.
To provide a comprehensive sales support service and guidance for the group within your respective area.
To regularly liaise with the National Sales Manager / London Regional Director, providing regular updates on progress and development, at the same time as highlighting any potential issues.
To follow up with customers via telephone and/or email following initial sales contact within a set timeframe and to develop key contacts at senior levels of target organisations and increase business turnover through relationship building.
To communicate effectively and maintain excellent relationships with relevant internal and external parties in order to achieve set targets and ultimately sales objectives.
To record all data collected from leads on our internal systems to ensure relevant and accurate data is available.
To strictly adhere to and understand the Company’s selling practices, methods, policies and procedures in accordance with FCA rules.
To ensure strict adherence to, and understanding of Company policies and procedures.
To issue indicative quotations for all warranties when required and other products within your area of responsibility and follow up on these quotes on a regular basis.
To continually aim to achieve set targets in relation to Key Performance Indicators and SLA’s.
To undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
Experienced Needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
Strong customer service and telesales skills.
Experience of Telesales in a high volume fast, paced environment and a good understanding of sales processes
Problem solving and decision making skills.
Professional and confident telephone manner.
Experience of working within a target driven sales support environment.
Self-motivated with an ability to work unsupervised.
To be achievement and sales focused.
Ability to use initiative, prioritise and meet deadlines.
Superior sales ‘closing’ skills.
In depth understanding of FCA Regulations and how they apply to products.
Resilient – able to handle rejection and be persistent in approach.
Ability to analyse and problem solve.
Excellent IT skills – proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
Experience with CRM packages is desirable.
Up-to-date market and competitor knowledge with an ability to identify market opportunities.
Proven ability to persuade and influence.
