Food and Beverage Manager

Salary: £25,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join a local and successful bistro business who are continuing to grow. 40 hours per week – the business is open 7 days/week – 9am-7pm Saturday and Sunday, 9am-9pm Monday to Friday so flexibility is key.

Reporting directly to the business owners, your role will involve:
• Managing the bar, table and food service to customers – up to 160,000 footfall across the year – busiest season across summer and school holidays
• Managing up to 5 cooks and waiting-on staff – rotas, staff reviews, HR etc
• Ordering supplies
• Delivering a 5-star customer experience
• Food cooking and bar service experience

You will be experienced in the following:
• Previous experience outlined above
• Proven track record of effectively recruiting, managing and motivating staff
• Passionate about providing 5-star customer experience
• Bringing business ideas to the owners to increase profitability
• Basic food hygiene certificate essential
• Approved licence to sell alcohol
