What you’ll do
To lead and manage a small team of Claims Handlers being responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. You need to ensure the team is operating strictly within insuring agreements, FCA regulations and guidelines. You may be required to handle a small case load of claims.
You are required to be a point of contact for the team for referrals, payment authority approval, escalation of large loss cases and complaints and general team leader duties to ensure continued improvement of the Department.
Experience you need
Good working knowledge of FCA regulations and insurance claims procedures and systems. Proven customer service at a high level, and understanding of insurance market and related products. Ability to work professionally with clients, management and staff at all levels, great communicate and ability to motivate and lead a team.
